Every year the Discovery Green transforms into an outdoor ice skating rink. It’s actually the largest outdoor ice skating rink in the Southwest at 7,716 square feet in size. In addition to the ice skating there, they also offer winter programming, outdoor movies, live music, snacks and hot cocoa. There’s even the Ice Box, which is a special toddler friendly ice rink. So go ahead and grab your ice skates (or rent them there) and head downtown for fun on the ice.
